  • MARTA (Director)

    MARTA (Director)

Welcome to our school! My name is Marta and I am so happy to be one of the 19 Kids&Us directors in Belgium. If you visit us, you can't miss me, as I am always at the door greeting your children with a big smile. I feel so lucky to see their faces light up as soon as they join their teachers and friends. What I enjoy the most is witnessing not only how the children grow and learn so fast, but also how much fun they're having. Our school is so much more than just learning a language. It's a 360-degree experience involving immersing yourself into the world of our amazing characters, sharing adventures with them, and creating new bonds for life. And of course, all of this happens 100% in English. If you haven't joined our family yet, why don't you give me a call and I'll tell you all about us!

  • ANNA

Hi, I'm Anna and I come from Hungary. Before I moved to Belgium, I have had the chance to live in some other European countries such as Sweden and Ireland. I've been teaching at Kids&Us since 2016 and even though I started out as a teacher I have grown to be one of the academic coordinators in Wemmel, and now Heysel too. During these last several years, I have had the opportunity to witness first-handedly how our school has flourished with close to 700 students. Coordinating has allowed me to polish my organisational, interpersonal and problem-solving skills in an amiable environment. In my free time, I enjoy cooking, doing crafts, and training my amazing pets. I also love travelling and hope to visit all European countries in the future. Have you got an idea of which levels I teach this year?

Hey! My name's Monika and I’m an avid board game, animal and travelling enthusiast. At Kids&Us you will most likely find me assisting teachers, children and the parents. I have always had a special bond with kids, which has led me to become a teacher and eventually the pedagogical coordinator of Wemmel-Heysel. My master's degree in Children and Adolescent Psychology has given me the tools to accomplish one of my main goals as an academic coordinator of the school: helping the children as well as the teachers in reaching their full potential. I love working at Kids&Us not only because of my firm belief in the methodology, but also, because of our wonderful team. Don’t hesitate to drop by soon!

Hi everyone! My name’s Pamela! I come from Colombia but have been connected to Belgium from a very young age. I am a big animal fan and love nature; my two dogs are the loves of my life. I’ve always been passionate about education and working with kids of all ages. As this is my fourth year at Kids&Us, I have now been a teacher to children of all levels (Mousy to Fairy Tales!). Kids have never ceased to amaze me, but the smaller ones do have a special place in my heart; I just adore watching them grow, learn, and become a little person of their own. Besides, I love how they allow you to be silly and carefree around them. I am really excited for this school year as I am not only a teacher but also a coordinator! As such I can make children have even more fun, not only in class, but also at camps and other events. Can you figure out which classes I teach?

Hello, my name is Matt! I was born and raised in Washington, DC, but have been living in Brussels for the past five years. I've been teaching English to kids of all ages in that time, but this is my first year at Kids and Us! I enjoy the unique challenges and rewards that every new class provides, and I appreciate getting to create a fun learning environment! When I'm not teaching English I'm learning French and Dutch, which allows me to really understand how difficult a new language can be. Nonetheless, I also know the amazing feeling of accomplishment as you improve! Besides my interest in languages, I also love playing board games, cooking, watching films, and meeting new people. Can you guess which levels I teach?

  • EVI

Hello, I’m Evi and I come from Greece! From a very young age, I have dreamt of becoming an educator which inspired me to study English literature and teaching. My Hellenic heritage has fuelled my passion for humanities, pedagogy, and linguistics. I have taught English in Greece and now in Belgium. This is my second year working for Kids&Us and I couldn’t be happier. I am extremely fond of its methodology and the connection it creates with natural learning. When entering my class, students find themselves special members of a little group who enjoy learning together and having fun! Besides teaching, I love reading, attending theater plays, visiting museums and traveling. Have you got an idea which levels I teach?

Hello everyone! My name is Beatriz, and even though I’m originally from Spain, I’ve got roots all over the world. Even though I studied International Relations both in Madrid and Utrecht, I moved to Belgium to pursue a different career path. Working with kids has always been one of my passions, from personal tutoring to giving classes during summer camps or volunteering. I love being around kids, seeing how they grow up and become a unique individual. I'm incredibly excited to be a part of the Kids&Us team and to be able to share my love for English with the young ones. Outside of the Heysel school, you can find me at university, cooking at home or exploring Brussels. However, if it's holiday time, I'll probably be travelling around the world. Have you got an idea what classes I teach?

Hello! My name is Luci. Due to my multicultural upbringing, I’ve always been in contact with many languages and people. This has inspired me to always seek creative ways to communicate with others and has led to me to pursue my master’s degree in the Fine Arts. I am passionate about using the core beliefs and skills that I have nurtured through my studies in other fields, such as teaching. I am convinced that creativity along with observation and analytical skills are of essence in education. Since I joined the Kids&Us team in October 2021, it’s been wonderful; being able to witness children’s progress is very fulfilling. When I’m not teaching, I am reading, listening to music, and constantly admiring and/or making art. Can you figure out which levels I teach?

Hi, I'm Aidan and even though I have Dutch-American roots, I've lived in several countries such as Jordan, Turkey, the U.K., and Belgium of course. At the moment, I am finishing my Master’s degree in Creative Writing as my goal and dream is to be a children’s book author. This is why working with kids and being able to put the special methodology that Kids&Us has to offer into practice has truly been helpful and exciting. I've only just started working at Kids&Us, but it's already proven to be very rewarding and I am impatient to see what the future holds. When I'm not at Kids&Us, I'm usually working on my book or writing out fanfiction. Do you know which levels I teach?

Hello! My name is Sarod. I grew up in UAE, but I am originally from Pakistan. I moved to Belgium 2 years ago to pursue my bachelor's degree. Having lived in different countries, I encountered many cultures and dialects and truly became fascinated with the process of learning new languages. Being a part of the dynamic Kids&Us team gives me the opportunity to be involved in the crucial developmental stages of a child’s life, by introducing them to the English language in a creative and immersive way. Being an educator is truly one of the most rewarding and fulfilling careers that exist. When I am not in a classroom, I am in the kitchen trying out new recipes or travelling the world. I am also an avid gym-goer, rock climber and I play instruments in my spare time. Can you figure out which levels I teach this year?

Hi there, I’m Evelin! Originally from Hungary, I had the privilege of growing up in a very international environment, and English has been my main language since age 8. I started out with a degree in Biology, which I really loved; but whether it was through nannying, tutoring, or volunteering on the weekends, I always seemed to find my way back to working with kids. I have always felt I had a natural ease and affinity for working with children, so I decided to reorient. I have since completed studies relating to education and childcare, and I’m hoping to continue with much more! I really enjoy teaching at Kids&Us, as it embodies everything that I myself experienced and found so vital to learning new languages at a young age. With these tools, I hope to help my students unlock their potential, and harness the gift of seeing the world through another language. Do you know which classes I give?

  • RAY

Hello! My name is Ray! I come from Lebanon, but I recently moved to Belgium to continue my studies. I have obtained a diploma in biology with a cognitive science minor, which included learning about child development and education. I have already taught English in Lebanon, so I was happy to get the opportunity to continue doing so here in Belgium. Teaching was always a part of my plan, as I find it extremely gratifying. Being part of the Kids&Us team is a rich experience, especially because of the psychologically backed methodology that we use to teach our students. I am excited to start this adventure and to inspire and be inspired by the little ones! Besides my medical studies and teaching, I am a cinephile who loves experiencing new things and going on adventures! Can you figure out which classes I teach?!

Hello! My name’s Cornelia. I was born and raised in Ireland, but recently moved to Belgium with my husband. I am fond of reading and cooking, but I am also a nature lover who enjoys hiking and travelling. I’ve always adored working with children and have started teaching to little ones before moving to Belgium. I have a deep interest in children’s brain development, so in the future, I would like to pursue pediatric nursing. Working with students of such a young age at Kids&Us allows me to witness first-handedly the evolution and progress that occurs while growing up and learning a language. Even though I have just started working at our school, I am already really enjoying it! Can you tell what levels I’m teaching?
